٠ How to Apply

Initial Approach:  We strongly encourage applicants to contact our office before submitting unsolicited grant proposals.

 

Proposal: Send a brief description of your organization and the program that you would like us to consider for funding. Please include 2 copies of your proposal along with the original and the following supporting documentation:

• Copy of 501 (c)(3) letter

• latest financial statements

• a list of your Board of Directors

• a statement indicating if all of your Board members contribute financially to your organization

• No application forms are required.

٠ What we fund 

As philanthropists, we recognize that it is not possible to fund every worthy project. We try to determine where our grant money can best be used. As a result of this conundrum our grant making is eclectic.

While we do make grants for general purposes or operating expenses, most of our grants are made for program development or project support. Our giving is primarily in the New York and Southern CA areas, but all grant requests will be reviewed.

 

Listed below is a sample of the types of organizations we have most recently funded:

٠ What we do not fund 

We do not make grants or loans to individuals.

Film and video projects are rarely funded.

There are no deadlines for proposal submissions.

The Board meets six times a year to review grant requests .
